Yakovlev Yak-3

The Yakovlev Yak-3 was a prominent Soviet fighter aircraft primarily used on the Eastern Front of World War II from 1943-1944 until the end of the war. Renowned for its superior agility and speed at low altitudes, it dominated German Luftwaffe forces over the Soviet Union, Ukraine, Belarus, Poland, and during the final push into Germany.
