The Vickers Wellington Mk.X, the final major bomber variant produced (1943–1945), was primarily used as a night bomber by RAF Bomber Command against Germany until late 1943, later transitioning to maritime patrol, anti-submarine warfare (Coastal Command), and training roles in Europe, the Mediterranean, and the Far East.
