Tupolev Tu-2

The Tupolev Tu-2 (NATO: Bat) was a premier Soviet twin-engine, multi-role medium bomber used extensively from 1942 to the end of World War II, continuing service into the early 1950s. It was primarily deployed on the Eastern Front against Germany (notably at Stalingrad, Kursk, and Berlin) and against Japan in Manchuria, serving later with North Korea and China.
