Seversky P35

PriceFrom $2.35

The Seversky P-35 was used primarily as an early WWII-era fighter by the United States Army Air Corps (USAAC) for training and defense, with major deployment to the Philippines. It saw combat against Japan in 1941–1942. Exported versions served in Sweden (as J 9) and Ecuador.

United States (USAAC/USAAF): Initially assigned to the 1st Pursuit Group at Selfridge Field, Michigan, in 1937–1938. Later, 48-60 P-35A models were sent to the Philippines in 1941, serving with the 17th and 34th Pursuit Squadrons at Del Carmen Field, Luzon.

Philippines: The Philippine Army Air Corps used P-35As, which fought against Japanese forces during the initial Pacific War, experiencing poor performance due to obsolescence.

Sweden: Ordered 60 improved EP-106 fighters (designated J 9), which were used for neutrality patrols.
