The Reggiane Re.2002 Ariete was an Italian fighter-bomber used primarily in 1943 during the Allied invasion of Sicily for ground-attack and anti-shipping missions. It saw service with the Regia Aeronautica, later the Italian Co-Belligerent Air Force against Germany, and by the Luftwaffe for anti-partisan operations in France.
