Petlyakov Pe2 M-82

The Petlyakov Pe-2 M-82 was a variant of the Soviet "Peshka" dive bomber introduced in small batches starting in spring 1944, used primarily for high-speed reconnaissance and tactical support by elite units. Key deployments included the 99th Guards Separate Reconnaissance Regiment and 39th ORAP, where they operated without brake grilles.
