Petlyakov i15BIS

The Polikarpov I-15bis (or I-152), a Soviet biplane fighter produced from 1937 to 1939, saw extensive service across multiple conflicts. It was primarily used in the Spanish Civil War (1938), the Second Sino-Japanese War, the Battle of Khalkhin-Gol (1939), the Winter War with Finland (1939-1940), and during the early stages of the Great Patriotic War (WWII) on the Eastern Front.
