It served across European fronts, including in Germany, Hungary, and Italy with units such as JG 4, JG 76, and JG 77.

  • Role and Deployment: As a refined version of the G-6, the G-14 was deployed to counter increasing Allied daylight raids, featuring improved performance at high altitudes.
  • Operational Areas: Used extensively in the defense of the Reich, including operations in Germany. It was also deployed on the Eastern Front and in Central Europe (Hungary).
  • Key Units: Many fighter units (Jagdgeschwader) were equipped with G-14s by the end of the war.
  • Production: Approximately 5,500 G-14 and G-14/AS models were manufactured until February 1945.
