Ilyushin il-2 single seat

The single-seat Ilyushin Il-2 Shturmovik was primarily used by the Soviet Air Force as a heavily armored ground-attack aircraft on the Eastern Front during World War II, starting in early 1941. It specialized in low-level, close air support, destroying German tanks, armored vehicles, and logistical equipment.
