$6.00Price

The Hansa-Brandenburg C.I (also known as Type LDD) was a significant reconnaissance biplane used by the Austro-Hungarian Imperial and Royal Aviation Troops during World War I. Designed by Ernst Heinkel, this two-seater, single-engine aircraft was known for its good handling characteristics.

Key features included its role in reconnaissance, artillery observation, and light bombing. The Austro-Hungarian, Polish, and Romanian Air Forces used this aircraft. Over 1300 were built, including licensed production. Armament varied, initially featuring a free-firing gun for the observer and a fixed forward-firing gun for the pilot, with later models having a synchronized forward-firing gun. Bomb loads typically ranged from 60 kg to a maximum of 80 kg.
