The Handley Page Halifax was a primary British Royal Air Force (RAF) heavy bomber used extensively across Europe during World War II, with its operational debut against Le Havre, France, in March 1941. Primarily targeting German cities, it flew over 75,000 sorties, including major campaigns against the Ruhr, Hamburg, and Berlin.
