1-144 German WWI Balkenkreuz Style #1 THIN white outline

This 1/144 scale German WWI Balkenkreuz Style #1 decal sheet provides the straight-sided black cross with a thin white outline, giving modelers a finer alternative to the heavier outlined version.
Historical Background
The German Air Service adopted the straight-sided Balkenkreuz in mid-April 1918 to replace the earlier cross pattée national marking. Because the change was made while many aircraft were already in operational service, the resulting markings showed noticeable differences in proportions, line thickness, and white borders. This thin-outline version is intended for aircraft where period photographs show a more restrained border.

Medium: suitable for many bombers and larger-wing fighters such as Fokker D-series, Roland, and Pfalz types.
Small: useful for smaller rudders and aircraft such as Albatros, Fokker E.III, and Halberstadt D.II types.
