By early 1918 orders were issued to replace the Iron Cross with Balkenkreuz or beam cross. Orders did not specify size or dimensions. Most units simply painted straight lines connecting the ends of the earlier version Iron Cross roundels.
There are two size sheets available:
Medium which will in most cases work on most bombers and larger wing sized fighters like the Fokker D's, Roland's, Pfalz's etc.
Small which will work on small rudders of above as well as wings of smaller fighters like the Albatros's, Fokker E3, Halberstadt D2 etc.
