The Dutch Fokker G.IA "heavy fighter-cruiser" was primarily operated by the Dutch Air Force during the German invasion of the Netherlands in May 1940. Used for ground attack and engaging transport planes, these twin-boom aircraft fought from bases like Waalhaven (Rotterdam). Some were later captured and used by Germany for training.
