The Nesher jet, an Israeli-manufactured copy of the French Mirage 5, was primarily used by the Israeli Air Force (IAF) during the 1973 Yom Kippur War, where it achieved 111 aerial combat victories. It served as a key air-superiority fighter in the 1970s before being sold to the Argentine Air Force (as the "Dagger").
