Yakovlev Yak 15

The Yakovlev Yak-15 was used exclusively by the Soviet Air Force as a first-generation jet fighter and transition trainer from 1946 until it was retired by 1953. It served primarily to familiarize pilots with jet technology and did not see active frontline combat, acting as a stopgap measure for training, parade displays, and testing.
