Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-3

The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-3 was primarily used by the Soviet Air Defense Forces (PVO) during World War II as a high-altitude interceptor, notably defending Moscow in 1941–1942. It served on the Eastern Front against Nazi Germany for reconnaissance, night fighting, and, less effectively, low-altitude ground attack, with production ending in 1942.
