Junkers Ju-87R Stuka

The Junkers Ju-87R (Stuka), a long-range tropicalized variant of the B-2, was primarily used for anti-shipping, long-range bombing, and ground support in the Mediterranean, North African, and Balkan theaters. It was deployed during the Siege of Tobruk, the Battles of El Alamein, and the Greek campaign, often operating from 1941 to 1943. 
 
North Africa & Mediterranean: Specifically designed for longer-range missions, the Ju-87R was used by the Luftwaffe and Italian air forces for anti-shipping roles in the Mediterranean and ground support for the Afrika Korps.
Balkans & Greece: Deployed in the 1941 Balkans campaign.
Eastern Front: Used for ground support, particularly in earlier stages before being replaced by newer models.
Features: It featured increased range, often at the cost of reduced maximum bomb load compared to the B-2, and lacked the "Jericho Trumpet" sirens.
Significance: It was a key dive-bomber in the Blitzkrieg, though it struggled against Allied fighters after 1941.
