The Fiat-Aeritalia G.91Y was used almost exclusively by the Italian Air Force (Aeronautica Militare). Designed as an upgraded, twin-engine derivative of the original Fiat G.91, Italy operated 65 of these light strike and reconnaissance aircraft from 1971 until they were retired in 1994.
