The Eurofighter Typhoon (EF-2000) is a highly agile, twin-engine, multirole 4.5-generation fighter jet developed by a European consortium of the UK, Germany, Italy, and Spain. As of early 2026, the global fleet has surpassed one million flying hours, maintaining its status as a central pillar of NATO air power with service extending potentially into the 2060s.
