These 1-300 USA North Africa White Star Roundel decals reproduce the distinctive U.S. aircraft recognition marking used during Operation Torch and the opening phase of the North African campaign. The standard white star on a blue circular field was surrounded by a highly visible yellow outer ring, creating one of the most recognizable theater-specific American aircraft markings of World War II.
The yellow-bordered insignia appeared as U.S. forces prepared for the November 1942 landings in French North Africa.
