Historical Context
Polish and Czechoslovak airmen made a major contribution to RAF wartime operations after escaping occupied Europe. No. 300 Squadron was the first Polish bomber squadron formed in Britain and converted to Wellingtons in 1940. No. 305 Squadron also operated Wellingtons with Bomber Command, while No. 311 Czechoslovak Squadron began Wellington bombing operations in 1940 before transferring to Coastal Command in 1942. The captured-aircraft markings add an unusual option representing enemy evaluation of Allied equipment.
