Vickers F.B.5 Gunbus

The Vickers F.B.5 "Gunbus" was a British two-seat, pusher-configuration biplane that was the first aircraft purpose-built for air-to-air combat to see operational service. It was a landmark aircraft in military aviation, and its pusher design—with the propeller at the rear—was specifically chosen to give a forward-facing gunner an unobstructed field of fire.
