USS Knox Class FFG Clear 1-2400

This 1-2400 scale waterslide deck decal is designed for miniature warships representing the Knox FF family. It provides a practical way to add crisp deck markings and surface detail to modern U.S. Navy miniatures while retaining the modeler's chosen hull and deck finish.

Decal Information
They are printed on clear-background waterslide decal paper, allowing the modeler to paint the deck in any desired color before applying the clear decal over the painted surface.

Model Compatibility
This 1-2400 scale deck decal is sized for the GHQ miniature. Miniatures from other manufacturers may differ in deck dimensions, weapons placement, or superstructure footprint, so test-fit before application.

Historical Information
The Knox class was designed as a large ocean escort centered on anti-submarine warfare. Originally designated destroyer escorts and redesignated frigates in 1975, the ships used long-range sonar, ASROC, torpedoes, and embarked helicopters to protect convoys and naval task groups. The class served throughout the Cold War, including Vietnam-era operations and evacuation support, before leaving U.S. service in the 1990s.
