USS Iwo Jima (CV-46) MS Blue
USS Iwo Jima (CV-46) MS Blue — 1-2400 Scale Deck Decal
Historically accurate 1-2400 scale aircraft carrier deck decal representing the planned Iwo Jima (CV-46) MS Blue configuration. This Essex-class carrier was never completed, and the product represents the planned ship configuration.
MS Blue represents the dark blue deck stain used on U.S. Navy carriers during World War II. Exposure to sunlight, salt water, weather, and heavy flight-deck use caused the stain to fade over time, producing lighter blue-grey tones.
