Historical Information
HMS Vengeance (R71) was a Colossus-class light fleet carrier built by Swan Hunter and commissioned on 15 January 1945. She deployed to the Far East during the final months of World War II and was present during the reoccupation of Hong Kong; after postwar Royal Navy service she was loaned to the Royal Australian Navy from 1952 to 1955.
