This 1-2400 scale deck decal represents the People's Liberation Army Navy Type 053H3 Jiangwei II-class guided-missile frigate, an important transitional design between earlier coastal-defense frigates and the later Type 054 family.

Historical Information
The Type 053H3 entered service in 1998 as an improved development of the Type 053H2G/Jiangwei I. Ten ships were built, combining YJ-83 anti-ship missiles, short-range air defense, a 100 mm gun, anti-submarine weapons, and a helicopter hangar. The class provided the PLAN with a more balanced multi-role frigate during the late 1990s and early 2000s. Eight remain in Chinese service after two ships were transferred to Bangladesh, although newer Type 054A and Type 054B frigates have progressively taken over frontline escort duties.
