Luyang III (Type 052D) DDG 1-2400

Luyang III (Type 052D) DDG — 1-2400 Scale Deck Decal
This 1-2400 scale deck decal represents the People's Liberation Army Navy Type 052D Luyang III-class guided-missile destroyer, the PLAN's principal modern air-defense destroyer and one of its most numerous major surface-combatant designs.

Decal Information
The decal reproduces the Type 052D deck and helicopter-deck markings on a clear background so the modeler's painted deck color remains visible. It was developed around the corresponding GHQ miniature; individual markings and hull numbers should be carefully cut and aligned before application.

Model Compatibility
Miniatures from other manufacturers may differ in deck dimensions, weapons placement, or superstructure footprint, so test-fit before application.

Historical Information
The Type 052D entered service with Kunming in 2014 and introduced a 64-cell universal vertical launch system paired with an advanced phased-array radar. The class supports area air defense, anti-surface warfare, land attack, and anti-submarine missions and frequently operates as an escort for PLAN carrier and surface action groups. Production has continued through several visible refinements, including lengthened-flight-deck and later sensor variants. Thirty-five ships were publicly confirmed in service by 2026, with additional hulls at various stages of construction and trials.
