Type 052C DDG 1-2400
Type 052C Luyang II DDG — 1-2400 Scale Deck Decal
This 1-2400 scale deck decal represents the People's Liberation Army Navy Type 052C Luyang II-class guided-missile destroyer, the first Chinese surface combatant class to field a modern phased-array radar and long-range vertical-launch area-air-defense system.
Decal Information
The decal reproduces the Type 052C deck markings on a clear background so the modeler's painted deck color remains visible. This product was developed for the corresponding GHQ miniature; cut the individual deck markings and hull numbers carefully before application.
Model Compatibility
Miniatures from other manufacturers may differ in deck dimensions, weapons placement, or superstructure footprint, so test-fit before application.
Historical Information
The Type 052C marked a major step in PLAN fleet air-defense capability. Lanzhou entered service in 2004 and Haikou followed in 2005; four additional ships entered service between 2013 and 2015, bringing the class to six. The ships combine phased-array radar with HHQ-9 surface-to-air missiles, anti-ship missiles, anti-submarine weapons, and an embarked helicopter, allowing them to provide area air defense and multi-mission escort support to larger naval formations.
