Takanami Class DDG 1-2400

Takanami Class DDG 1-2400

This 1-2400 scale waterslide deck decal represents the JMSDF Takanami class, an improved general-purpose destroyer class developed from the earlier Murasame design.

Decal Information
The decal reproduces the visible deck and helicopter-deck markings for the Takanami Class and is printed on a clear background so the modeler's painted deck color remains visible. The deck markings and hull numbers should be cut and positioned carefully to match the miniature.

Model Compatibility
Miniatures from other manufacturers may differ in deck dimensions, weapons placement, or superstructure footprint, so test-fit before application.

Historical Information
The five Takanami-class destroyers entered service from 2003 and feature a larger 127 mm main gun, improved combat systems, and a consolidated vertical-launch arrangement. They are designed for balanced air, surface, and anti-submarine warfare and routinely operate as escorts within JMSDF task groups.
