Historical Context
The SEPECAT Jaguar was an Anglo-French twin-engine strike aircraft developed jointly by Breguet and the British Aircraft Corporation. The first prototype flew on September 8, 1968, and the French single-seat Jaguar A entered service in the 1970s.
Designed initially around advanced training and tactical support requirements, the Jaguar evolved into a highly effective low-level strike aircraft.
