Russian Moskva Class CACV Steel Deck 1-2400

This 1-2400 scale waterslide deck decal represents the Soviet Moskva-class helicopter cruiser in the Steel Deck version. The decal reproduces the large aft helicopter operating deck and the distinctive deck treatment of this early Soviet anti-submarine aviation ship.

Decal Information

This waterslide deck decal includes the printed steel deck color and markings as part of the decal itself. Apply it to a smooth, prepared model surface and seal after placement for the best finished appearance.

Model Compatibility

This 1-2400 scale deck decal is sized for the Alnavco Moskva-class miniature. Miniatures from other manufacturers may differ in deck dimensions, weapons placement, or superstructure footprint, so test-fit before application.

Historical Information

The Moskva class, Project 1123 Kondor, was the Soviet Navy's first operational class of helicopter cruisers and was designed primarily to hunt NATO ballistic-missile and attack submarines. Moskva entered service in 1967 and was followed by Leningrad; both combined a large helicopter group with cruiser-style anti-aircraft and anti-submarine weapons before the class was retired in the 1990s.
