Project 956EM Taizhou DDG — 1-2400 Scale Deck Decal

This 1-2400 scale deck decal represents Taizhou (138), one of two improved Project 956EM Sovremenny-derived guided-missile destroyers built in Russia specifically for the People's Liberation Army Navy.

Decal Information

The decal reproduces Taizhou's deck markings for the applicable model configuration on a clear background so the modeler's painted deck color remains visible. This product was developed around the corresponding GHQ miniature; verify the miniature's refit configuration before final decal placement.

Model Compatibility

Miniatures from other manufacturers may differ in deck dimensions, weapons placement, or superstructure footprint, so test-fit before application.

Historical Information

Taizhou was built by Severnaya Verf in Saint Petersburg and commissioned into PLAN service on 28 December 2005 as the first of two Project 956EM ships, followed by Ningbo. The design was originally optimized for powerful anti-surface warfare and fleet air defense. Taizhou later underwent a comprehensive modernization that was completed by 2025, replacing or integrating much of its original Russian combat-system fit with Chinese sensors, missiles, close-in defenses, and vertical-launch weapons while retaining its distinctive Sovremenny-derived hull and forward twin 130 mm gun.
