The Pomilio PD was an Italian armed reconnaissance biplane developed during World War I. This was an improved version of the earlier Pomilio PC and featured better stability with a tail fin and ventral fin. It was powered by a 200hp Fiat A.12 engine and served in the Italian Air Force from mid-1917 until the end of the war. Although it had some instability problems, further improvements led to the development of the Pomilio PE. Approximately 431 Pomilio PDs were built
