Pomilio PD

Historical Background
The Pomilio PD was an Italian two-seat armed reconnaissance aircraft introduced during 1917. Developed from the earlier Pomilio PC, the PD incorporated changes intended to improve stability while retaining the speed that had made the Pomilio reconnaissance family notable when first introduced.
The aircraft served with the Corpo Aeronautico Militare in reconnaissance, observation, and battlefield-support roles before later Pomilio variants entered service.
