This 1-3000 scale waterslide decal reproduces the deck markings for the Moskva class green during that period of time. Customers report that most decals fit Davco ship castings fairly well. Apply over a properly prepared and gloss-coated model surface using normal waterslide-decal techniques.

Historical Information

The Moskva class, Project 1123 Kondor, was the Soviet Navy's first operational class of helicopter cruisers and was designed primarily to hunt NATO ballistic-missile and attack submarines. Moskva entered service in 1967 and was followed by Leningrad; both combined a large helicopter group with cruiser-style anti-aircraft and anti-submarine weapons before the class was retired in the 1990s.
