The Junkers Ju-88 A-4, the definitive bomber variant of the versatile German aircraft, was used extensively on all major fronts from late 1940 until the end of World War II. Key deployments included the Eastern Front against the USSR, the Mediterranean (Malta), North Africa, and the aerial offensive against Britain.
