The Junkers Ju-87G ("Gustav") was specialized as a tank-busting ground-attack aircraft used primarily on the Eastern Front against Soviet armor from 1943 to 1945. Equipped with two 37mm BK 37 cannons under the wings, it was used in battles such as Stalingrad and in the final defense against Soviet advances.
