Historical Information
Jordanian military aircraft use the Jordanian national flag as their fin marking. The design consists of horizontal black, white, and green bands with a red triangle at the hoist containing a white seven-pointed star.
 
The Jordanian fin flash has been associated with the country's military aviation organization since the early development of the air force. The national flag is applied to the fin with the hoist side facing forward.
