IJN Unryū Class (CV) Standard Deck — 1-2400 Scale Deck Decal
This 1-2400 scale waterslide deck decal reproduces the principal flight-deck appearance and markings for IJN Unryū Class (CV) Standard Deck in the Standard Deck configuration. Apply over a properly prepared and gloss-coated model surface using normal waterslide-decal techniques.
Historical Information
The Unryu class was developed as a wartime production carrier design derived largely from Hiryu, with simplified construction intended to expand Japan's carrier force rapidly. Only a few ships reached commissioned status before the war ended, and shortages of aircraft, trained aircrews, fuel, and time sharply limited their operational use.
