This 1-2400 scale waterslide deck decal reproduces the principal flight-deck appearance and markings for IJN Shokaku (CV) Pearl Harbor in the Pearl Harbor configuration. Apply over a properly prepared and gloss-coated model surface using normal waterslide-decal techniques.

 

Historical Information

Shokaku was built at Yokosuka Naval Arsenal and commissioned in 1941 as one of Japan's most capable prewar fleet carriers. Together with her sister Zuikaku, she formed Carrier Division 5 and entered combat almost immediately with the Pearl Harbor strike force.
