The IAR-80 was a Romanian-built WWII fighter and dive-bomber used extensively on the Eastern Front against the Soviet Union (1941–1943) and for home defense against Allied bombing raids on the Ploiești oil fields. It saw service from 1941 until the end of the war, notably fighting at Stalingrad before transitioning to air defense duty in Romania.
