Historical Information

HMS Arbiter (D31) was a Ruler-class escort carrier built by Seattle-Tacoma Shipbuilding and commissioned into Royal Navy service on 31 December 1943. She served on the Western Approaches in 1944 and in 1945 operated as an aircraft ferry supporting the British Pacific Fleet’s fleet train with replacement aircraft and air cover.
