Gotha G.I (Seaplane)
Historical Background
The Gotha G.I seaplane derivative, commonly associated with the UWD design, was an extremely unusual German naval aircraft of World War I.
Derived from the unconventional Gotha G.I layout, the aircraft combined a high-mounted fuselage, twin engines, and large floats for maritime operations. Only a very small number were constructed, making it one of the rarer German naval aviation types of the conflict.
