The Fairey Firefly Mk.4 was a post-war British two-seat carrier-borne fighter-reconnaissance aircraft developed from the earlier wartime Mark 1. First flying in 1944 and entering service shortly after World War II, it featured a powerful Rolls-Royce Griffon 74 engine, clipped wingtips for improved roll rate, and wing-root radiators.
