The Fairey Firefly was a British carrier-borne fighter and anti-submarine aircraft primarily used by the Fleet Air Arm (FAA) during World War II and the Korean War, with service extending into the mid-1950s. It operated extensively in the Pacific theater, Norwegian coastal raids, and later saw action with Australian, Canadian, and Dutch forces in Korea and Southeast Asia.
