F4U-4

The Vought F4U-4 Corsair was a high-performance, carrier-based fighter-bomber used primarily by the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps during World War II and the Korean War. The F4U-4 was the final major production variant to see service in WWII.  Became the mainstay of Marine ground attack squadrons during the Korean war, frequently providing close air support.
