F-4 FGR2 Phantom RAF Variant

British Phantom Specifications (FGR.2)
Unlike American models, British Phantoms were significantly redesigned to incorporate domestic technology: 
Engines: Powered by Rolls-Royce Spey turbofans, which provided more thrust and better fuel economy than the American J79 engines but required a wider fuselage and larger air intakes.
Armament: Typically carried four Skyflash or Sparrow radar-guided missiles, four AIM-9 Sidewinders, and a 20mm Vulcan cannon pod under the fuselage.
Service History: They served as the UK's primary interceptors throughout the Cold War until they were replaced by the Panavia Tornado in the late 1980s and officially withdrawn in 1992.
