The F-16C Block 30 Fighting Falcon was widely used by the U.S. Air Force, Air National Guard (ANG), and Air Force Reserve, primarily for multirole missions, suppression of enemy air defenses (SEAD), and as agressor aircraft. Key deployments included the Gulf War, operations in Bosnia, Kosovo, Afghanistan, and patrols over Iraq and Syria.

Key details regarding its usage include:

  • U.S. Operations: Primarily operated by ANG units (such as in Texas, Arizona, and New Jersey) and used as aggressor aircraft at locations like Eielson Air Force Base.
  • International Use: Used by the Hellenic Air Force (Greece), which acquired 34 Block 30 F-16Cs. The Turkish Air Force is modernizing its Block 30 fleet through the Ozgur project.
  • Operations & Combat: Deployed in operations involving NATO coalition forces in Europe and the Middle East, such as Operation Desert Storm and Operation Inherent Resolve.
  • Modernization: Many USAF Block 30s were upgraded through the Common Configuration Implementation Program (CCIP) to improve avionics and capability.

The Block 30 was a notable variant, often distinguished by its compatibility with both General Electric F110 and Pratt & Whitney F100 engines.

I have purchased over $500 in products and will continue to build the group. I highly recommend the company and their aircraft. I am very pleased.
