The F-16B Block 10, a two-seat trainer variant of the Fighting Falcon, was used primarily by the United States Air Force (USAF) and early NATO operators starting in the early 1980s. It was later upgraded, and units were transferred to the Italian Air Force (via lease) and more recently, the Argentine Air Force.
- US Air Force (USAF): Served as a trainer and operational fighter from 1981, with many later stored at AMARC.
- Italian Air Force (AMI): Under the "Peace Caesar" program in 2003, Italy leased F-16s, including Block 10/15 versions, until 2010–2012.
- Argentine Air Force (FAA): Recently acquired ex-Danish F-16B MLU (Mid-Life Update) Block 10 aircraft for pilot training and operational use, with units stationed at the VI Air Brigade in Tandil.
- Other Potential Users: Early Block 10 F-16A/Bs were operated by European NATO partners including Denmark, Belgium, and Norway, with many undergoing upgrades.
These aircraft are primarily used for training, flight familiarization, and air defense training rather than the high-intensity combat roles assigned to later C/D and E/F variants, although the upgraded MLU versions are combat-capable.
