This 1-3000 scale waterslide decal reproduces the deck markings for the CVE Shimane Maru during that period of time. Customers report that most decals fit Davco ship castings fairly well. Apply over a properly prepared and gloss-coated model surface using normal waterslide-decal techniques.
 
Historical Information
The Shimane Maru design adapted tanker hulls for aircraft-carrying duties during the final stage of the Pacific War. The series included Shimane Maru and the unfinished Ōtakisan Maru; the deck represents this late-war merchant-conversion design.
