Detailed 1-1800 scale waterslide deck decal representing IJN Junyo and Hiyo in the flight-deck variant shown. Apply over a properly prepared and gloss-coated model surface using normal waterslide-decal techniques.

 

Historical Information

Junyo and Hiyo were converted from unfinished passenger liners into aircraft carriers. Both served in Japan’s Pacific carrier force. Hiyo was lost at the Philippine Sea in June 1944; Junyo survived the war after damage curtailed her service.
