Blackburn Kangaroo GP seaplane
Historical Background
The Blackburn G.P. was a large British twin-engine floatplane developed during World War I for general-purpose maritime operations. Designed primarily for reconnaissance, patrol, bombing, and anti-submarine duties, only a small number of prototype aircraft were constructed.
The G.P. later provided the basis for development of the land-based Blackburn Kangaroo.
